At Epicentral Coworking we ask our members and our community to take risks, to embrace change, and to invest in themselves and their communities. We demand the same of ourselves. As you know, on March 21, Lisa purchased 415 N. Tejon Street, the future home of Epicentral Coworking. This is a big risk, a long-term investment, and a huge opportunity for the entrepreneurial community in Colorado Springs – especially for Epicentral Coworking members. Demolition of the interior has begun and we hope to move into our new space in mid to late June.
This transition has given each of us cause to reflect on our plans for the future. Hannah has decided to move on from owning and operating Epicentral Coworking. Our more entrepreneurial members can easily relate to the fact that three years ago Hannah had a goal: to open a coworking space in Colorado Springs. With Epicentral thriving, Hannah believes it is time to find her next adventure. On April 30, Lisa will move forward as the sole owner. We have been preparing for this transition for a few months. It has been a strong two and a half years of co-founding, co-ownership, and co-operating. We are proud of the progress we’ve made and this is the next step for both of us in our personal and professional development. Hannah isn’t going anywhere; you’ll likely still see her around the space as she begins the process of deciding “what’s next.”
Please let us know if you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, we are more than happy to discuss.
As always, thank you for your support!
Work hard and do good,
Lisa and Hannah
